The river stretches approximately 144 kilometers and offers ideal conditions for white-water rafting, with exciting rapids balanced by calmer sections where you can fully enjoy the surrounding scenery. Its emerald waters, dramatic rock formations, and rich biodiversity make every rafting journey a unique and unforgettable experience. One of the most iconic landmarks in the canyon is the Đurđevića Tara Bridge, an architectural masterpiece that rises high above the river(172 metres), offering panoramic views of the canyon and adding even more excitement to your adventure.

The tour begins with an exhilarating zip line ride at Đurđevića Tara Bridge, featuring lines up to 1,000 meters long and speeds of 50 to 120 km/h, providing stunning views of the Tara Canyon. Following this, an experienced team will lead you on a 16-kilometer rafting adventure on the Tara River, lasting about 2 hours, with the experience varying based on water levels. Higher levels offer a thrilling ride, while lower levels provide a more relaxed journey through beautiful scenery. The tour concludes with a lunch to recharge and reflect on the adventure.

For the bravest adventurers, the tour begins with an exhilarating zip line ride at the iconic Đurđevića Tara Bridge. With several lines ranging from 300 up to 1,000 meters in length and speeds reaching between 50 and 120 km/h, this thrilling start offers a breathtaking aerial view of the bridge and the magnificent Tara Canyon below.

The rafting adventure begins not far from the zip line landing point, where our experienced skippers will welcome you with professional equipment and a full safety briefing. From there, your unforgettable journey down the Tara River begins.The rafting route covers approximately 16 kilometers and lasts around 2 hours. The dynamics of the experience depends on the river’s water level.

During periods of higher water levels (spring and autumn), the rafting becomes more dynamic, exciting, and adrenaline-filled. In contrast, lower water levels (late spring and summer) provide a smoother and more relaxed ride, allowing you to fully enjoy the stunning scenery, crystal-clear waters, and the untouched wilderness of the canyon. At the end of the rafting tour, lunch will be organized to help you recharge your energy and share impressions from this remarkable experience.
